Our History

In 1971, Alsey Hudson and Allie Cooper founded Plain View Gin Company. Utilizing their first-hand knowledge of cotton farming, they established a ginning company focused on the true needs of area farmers. When Alsey’s son, Bruce Hudson, took over ownership in 1990 with Donnie Lewis, Jimmy Autry, and R.H. Bird, the company name changed to Quality Gin. Today, the Gin is still operated with the original focus: meeting the needs and expectations of Dunn-area farmers.
